In addition to our alpacas, we also keep a flock of Llanwenog sheep. Llanwenogs, we call them "noggies" for short, are a rare breed local to the area of Wales where we live. They are lovely looking sheep with black legs and faces and lovely creamy wool. They are a quiet breed: easy to handle, and not too big. Their wool is fine (Bradford Count 54-56). We can supply fleeces and commercially-spun aran weight yarn. If you are interested in buying any of our Llanwenogs, please contact us to see what we have available. All of our Llanwenogs are scrapie tested under the National Scrapie Plan. We are members of the Llanwenog Sheep Society.
